Step 1
Get the imei number of the HUAWEI USB modem, it's at the back of the modem (15 digits)
Step 2
At the top right of this blog site (http://freebrowsingtips.blogspot.com), under UNLOCK YOUR HUAWEI MODEM supply the 15 digits imei number, click on GET CODE, a page will pop up, from the pop up page copy out the 8 digits unlock code (not the flashing code).
Step 3
Insert another Sim card in the modem (if the modem is MTN, insert any other sim card e.g Airtel, Glo or Etisalat)
Step 4
Plug the modem into your Laptop/PC, You will be prompted to enter an unlock code
Step 5
Enter the 8 digits unlock code generated
Step 6
Your Modem is now universal...........Unlocked
