For those that have activated their Airtel free browsing using the Blackberry cheat I posted.
Connect your Airtel line to your Laptop/Pc using modem or phone
** Modem Settings**
On the modem interface that pop up
click TOOLS or SETUP
click on OPTIONS > PROFILE
On the top right, Click on NEW
Add a PROFILE NAME (eg AIRTEL)
Leave the APN black (ie Dynamic)
Under Authentication, Enter *99#
Select Set as default profile
Click on Save
Click on CONNECT to start Browsing free
** Phone Setting **
On the phone PC suite
Dial up Number: *99#
APN(Access Point Number): Leave Blank
** Browser Setting **
Mozilla
On the Menu Bar, Click Option > Advanced > Network
Under Connection, Click Settings
Then select NO proxy OR Use System proxy settings
Internet Explorer
No setting is required, Leave it on the default setting
** You are Good to GO **
