How to Change windows 7 login Background

Step 1:
Depending on your screen size, create an image or edit an existing wallpaper (mine is 1366 x 768 pixel)
Save the image as backgroundDefault.jpg (image size must be less than 500kb)

Step 2:
Open C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Info\backgrounds
paste the image created (backgroundDefault.jpg) inside the backgrounds folder
*Note
if info and backgrounds folders do not exist, create a new folder named info, and open it.
Create a new folder inside info folder named backgrounds

Step 3:
Click on Start button, type Run, then enter
In the Run dialog box, type regedit
open HKEY_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background.
In the right plane, double click on OEMBackground, and change the value data from 0 to 1
Exit Registry Editor
Restart your system to check if the login background has changed.

*Note
if the key OEMBackground does not exist
right click any where in the right plane
click on new, DWORD, enter the name OEMBackground, click Enter
double click on OEMBackground, and change the value data from 0 to 1
Exit Registry Editor
